Phasing

Phasing view before zoom:


Only the nucleotides at heterozygous positions are shown. 


Phasing view after zooming in:


 

After zooming in, all nucleotides are shown.


Red horizontal line: All these nucleotides are phased (on the same allele).

Grey horizontal line: Phased area to the next heterozygous position.


A question mark (?) indicates a position where NGSengine cannot determine if that position is heterozygous or homozygous. These positions will be neglected for further typing. 

To clearly show that there are question marks present, the question marks are also shown on the line below the phasing line

A triangle indicates a position where there is a difference between the data and the sequence of the selected allele. Triangles are explained here.


The arrows at the bottom left of the analysis screen can be used to jump to the next mismatch (triangle) or question mark.
