Join us for an interactive and educational teaching session!

We are happy to announce that we will host two teaching sessions on the opening day of the annual EFI meeting:

Morning (09:00-12:00): Towards high sensitivity in Chimerism monitoring

In the morning session, we dive deeper into chimerism monitoring and the relevance of achieving high sensitivity. Through practical examples and expert insights, we will explore the significance of sensitivity and introduce the available solutions offered by GenDx. We aim for an interactive session and have invited a guest speaker to share their experience.

Following topics will be covered:

  • Why is high sensitivity essential in chimerism monitoring?
  • Methods for chimerism monitoring by qPCR and NGS
  • Sharing experiences from the field
  • Questions and considerations when choosing a strategy

Afternoon (13:00-16:00): Hands on NGS-Turbo: High-res HLA sequencing in 3 hours

In the afternoon, our teaching session will focus on our newest product for rapid HLA typing: NGS-Turbo. We will explain how the workflow works and demonstrate the sequencing and data analysis live during the session. You will also have the opportunity to practice with loading a flow cell.

Following topics will be covered:

  • NGS-Turbo workflow and ONT sequencing explained
  • Live HLA sequencing run on MinION
  • Data analysis with NGSengine-Turbo
  • Hands-on practice on flow cell loading

There is no fee to attend the course. Attendance in the morning session includes lunch. As limited seats are available, you must register in time.

We are looking forward to meeting you at our event!
