To strengthen our Operation team, we offer a challenging position for a Technician with a keen eye for quality and detail.

As a Technician within the Operations team, you carry out laboratory work to produce and test our excellent products for transplant diagnostics. At GenDx, you get to work with the latest technologies on various platforms. You are responsible, precise, and you have a hands-on mentality. Naturally, you are an excellent planner and great collaborator, so working together in a team comes natural to you. Last but not least, you are aware of the activities in the lab and help your colleagues with their work and planning. You help to implement new products and improve protocols and processes.

Responsibilities

•  Preparing and aliquoting reagents
•  Assembly of the final product
•  Guiding and training colleagues
•  Improving existing protocols and procedures
•  Analyzing and interpreting results
•  Organization of the laboratory
•  Working according to ISO 13485 standards

Requirements

• BSc in Life Sciences or equivalent
• 2-3 years of relevant professional experience
• Experience with PCR and NGS is a pre
• Strong collaboration, planning and communication skills
• Independent and hands-on attitude
• Good command of English (both written and spoken)
• You are eligible to live and work in the Netherlands
• You currently live in Utrecht or surrounding area close to Utrecht Science Park, or are willing to relocate
