SBTengine Demo and Trial Versions
For evaluation purpose with fixed data set (Demo version)
1. When you download the demo version of SBTengine®, it comes with a time-limited license. Just follow the installation instructions.

2. When installation is finished, start SBTengine® and select in "help" menu "about". The details of the demo license will be depicted. Standard the validity will be 21 days.

3. When the license is expired a message box will appear stating that no valid license was found and that you should contact Genome Diagnostics for another license (support@GenDx.com). After confirming the message, SBTengine® will close automatically.

Note I: Note that the demo version may have limited functions and features and data analysis is restricted to the data that is provided by Genome Diagnostics.
Note II: The demo version of SBTengine® is available for evaluation purposes only. This evaluation opportunity is restricted solely to customers intending to purchase SBTengine®, unless otherwise agreed with authorised personnel of Genome Diagnostics.

For evaluation purpose with your data set (Trial version)
1. The trial license of SBTengine® is a unique time-limited license for a dedicated computer only. To obtain a trial license please download the Request License Form, complete it and send this information to Genome Diagnostics by email or through the internet. The trial license does not allow multiple users using SBTengine® simultaneously.

2. You will receive a file named "license.ldf" by e-mail.

3. Save this file at a proper location for backup reasons.

4. Copy the file into the directory where SBTengine® is installed. If you have performed "typical" installation the location will be c:\Program Files\GenDx\SBTengine. In case an older license file is already present, just overwrite this file, unless otherwise instructed by Genome Diagnostics.

5. To activate the new trial license file you have to start SBTengine and select from the "Help" menu "About".

6. Click on "Remove License" and restart SBTengine®

7. Select once more from the "Help" menu "About"

8. The newest trial license information is now depicted.

Note I: When you replace demo license file with the trial license file, you still may have the limited demo function. So, make sure that you download the Trial version.
