Licence Key

In order to be able to work with the software, you will need a Licence Key. A Licence Key will be sent to you by GenDx. When you use the NGSengine software for the first time, you will be asked to enter the Licence Key.

After copying the Licence Key to the field in the bottom of the screen, click 'Activate'. You are now ready to use NGSengine.

Proxy settings

To validate the licence key, the computer needs an active internet connection. In case the computer does have internet, but NGSengine cannot connect to the licencing database, your institute is probably using a proxy. In that case, you (or someone of the IT department) can click on the button 'Proxy settings'. A new screen will be opened.

Then check the 'Use proxy' checkbox, and fill in the name of the institute's proxy server and press OK. It might be needed to also fill in a valid username and password. Ask your local IT department for help on the settings.
